BMDTEX – Waterproofing reinforcement mesh

BMDTEX is a structural mesh, made with 100% polyester threads, lightly impregnated with PVC. Used in waterproofing molded on site. Its main purpose is to increase the resistance of the waterproofing system, to prevent the appearance of fissures and/or cracks. It can be used as reinforcement in the waterproofing of drains, joints, corners, edges, etc. Compatible with the main waterproofing systems on the market (flexible and rigid). Innovative mesh with the aim of bringing more versatility to the work and minimizing its environmental impacts!

General product features:

100% polyester yarns with light PVC impregnation;
Reinforcement in waterproofing systems, especially in areas prone to cracks and fissures;
The mesh offers additional protection against alkalis, thanks to its PVC coating;
Works with the main types of waterproofing agents available on the market, offering versatility;
The structural mesh is designed to withstand adverse weather conditions, ensuring longevity to the waterproofing system.
Increases the mechanical stability of the system;
Its low weight makes it easier to handle and apply the mesh, increasing productivity;
It has no minimum thickness for coating;
Reduced risk of accidents at work, as it is a polymeric mesh;
Flexibility that facilitates use in curved structures and with corners;
Is not affected by external and corrosive agents.
Low deformation
Available in white, in 50ml rolls and in widths of 20cm / 49cm / 73cm / 100cm / 147cm.

Information on use:

Store in a covered, dry, cool and ventilated place;
Always keep the packaging closed;
Wear safety glasses, gloves, PVC apron and protective mask;
Keep the product away from heat sources (chimneys, boilers, lamps, etc.), drinking water and food;
Keep the product out of the reach of children and animals;

Additional information:

Slabs: After applying the first coat of waterproofing, stretch the fabric over the entire surface before it dries. Avoid folding or wrinkling the fabric. Wait for it to dry and apply the remaining coats of waterproofing until the recommended consumption is reached. Check that the fabric is completely covered.
Drains and Pipes: Apply the first coat of waterproofing to the entire surface. Wait for it to dry. Cut it according to the diameter of the pipe/drain in a daisy-shaped pattern and dress it until it comes into contact with the acrylic resin. Apply the second coat of waterproofing and wait for it to dry.
Corners and Skirting Boards: Apply the first coat of waterproofing in the two corners for about 15 cm on each side. Use a 20 cm size and apply on top of the waterproofing, even before it dries, dividing 10 cm on each side. Apply the second coat of waterproofing and wait for it to dry.
